Engineering Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for mobile robots, lifts, racks, conveyors, charging stations, and automation peripherals
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms, faults, and system downtime to ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Perform preventive maintenance and conduct troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components, including batteries and charging systems
• Verify system functionality and safety following all maintenance activities
• Assist with software updates, system calibration, and communication checks between robots and WMS/WCS
• Record all maintenance activities, faults, and corrective actions in the maintenance management system
• Work rotating shifts, including day and night shifts

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics systems, or material handling equipment (candidates without experience are welcome to apply)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining complex spreadsheets and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to work rotating shifts
