About the role
Responsibilities
Depending on your chosen trade, your role will include:
Mechanical Apprentice
- Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnosis of airframe, engine systems, and mechanical components
- Work on undercarriage, wheels, brakes, pressurisation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and flight control systems
Avionics Apprentice
- Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnostics of electrical, instrument, and radio systems
- Work on power generation, ignition, autopilot, radar, communication systems, and in-flight entertainment
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Eagerness to learn a hands-on trade
- Proactive attitude toward safe work practices
- High level of motivation and passion for aviation
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills
- Good hand skills and ability to use various tooling
- Valid driver's licence
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
- Ability to work all shift patterns
- Availability to start from early 2027
