Engineering Apprenticeship Program

Responsibilities

Depending on your chosen trade, your role will include:

Mechanical Apprentice

• Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnosis of airframe, engine systems, and mechanical components
• Work on undercarriage, wheels, brakes, pressurisation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and flight control systems

Avionics Apprentice

• Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnostics of electrical, instrument, and radio systems
• Work on power generation, ignition, autopilot, radar, communication systems, and in-flight entertainment

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Eagerness to learn a hands-on trade
• Proactive attitude toward safe work practices
• High level of motivation and passion for aviation
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills
• Good hand skills and ability to use various tooling
• Valid driver's licence
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
• Ability to work all shift patterns
• Availability to start from early 2027
