About the role

Responsibilities

Depending on the chosen trade, responsibilities include:

Mechanical Apprentice

  • Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnosis of airframe, engine systems, and mechanical components
  • Work on undercarriage, wheels, brakes, pressurisation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and flight control systems

Avionics Apprentice

  • Maintain, inspect, and undertake fault diagnostics of electrical, instrument, and radio systems
  • Work on power generation, distribution, ignition, autopilot, radar, and communication systems

Requirements

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Good manual dexterity with hand tools
  • Proactive attitude toward safe work practices
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency status
  • Ability to work all shift patterns
  • Availability to start work from early 2027
