Responsibilities

  • Maintain the CMMS software, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently
  • Input and update asset details including maintenance records, work orders, and inventory data
  • Coordinate and schedule contractor visits for maintenance, repairs, or inspections
  • Oversee and manage contractors and service contracts in line with procurement
  • Generate and distribute reports on maintenance activities, system usage, and asset performance
  • Conduct regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and consistency across the CMMS
  • Provide training and support to users on CMMS best practices
  • Support lab staff with hands-on tasks (approx. 30% of the role)

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
  • Confident user of maintenance, facilities, BMS, or service desk software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Right to work permanently in the UK
  • Ability to work onsite in Oxford 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with CMMS software or Asset Management systems
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes and work order management
  • Experience in R&D, labs, biotech, or life sciences environments
