Engineer

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, specifications, and preliminary investigation plans by analyzing client input and product construction.
• Conduct testing and examine samples to ensure compliance with UL standards and requirements.
• Communicate technical issues, project costs, and procedures to clients to resolve concerns and negotiate requirements.
• Coordinate laboratory activities, including preparing data sheets and scheduling work for technicians and engineering assistants.
• Prepare technical reports, follow-up service procedures, and information pages to communicate project status and results.
• Travel up to 25–50% to conduct or witness testing and support project requirements, occasionally including international travel.
• Work in a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program.
• 1-4 years of experience with electrical distribution equipment (e.g., low/medium voltage switchgear) preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
