Engineer

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, investigation plans, and specifications including cost, time, and sample requirements.
• Conduct product testing and examine samples for compliance with UL requirements and safety standards.
• Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures, and resolve concerns.
• Coordinate laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and scheduling work for technicians and assistants.
• Prepare technical reports and follow-up service procedures to communicate project status and results.
• Assist in the development of UL requirements, special test methods, and test equipment.
• Travel to client sites to conduct or witness tests as required.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program.
• This is an entry-level role; no prior professional experience is required.
