About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead design execution for Applied ETO comfort cooling and data center projects from concept through production release
- Own the technical integrity and consistency of CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and configurations
- Coordinate and drive Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including scope definition and release sequencing
- Provide technical direction to onsite and offshore designers, including work assignment and quality assurance
- Resolve complex design and integration issues in collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment using CAD software
- Lead design reviews and cross-functional technical discussions to ensure compliance with engineering standards
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience
- 3+ years of working knowledge of PLM workflows and release processes
- 3+ years of experience in CAD or 3D modeling
- 2+ years of experience leading design work
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency with CREO for 3D modeling and Windchill
- Experience coordinating and reviewing work from offshore design resources
- Working knowledge of manufacturing fabrication and assembly methods
- Experience in the HVAC industry or industrial machine design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
