Engineer, Supplier Quality

Responsibilities

• Implement management projects to maintain and improve the quality of all material suppliers
• Partner with sourcing and project management teams to qualify and evaluate new suppliers and components
• Conduct audits of key vendors covering processes, products, and quality systems to identify and mitigate risks
• Perform performance evaluations of key vendors to develop coping strategies for risk reduction
• Manage nonconformity disposition for all materials and analyze statistics to prevent recurring quality issues
• Collaborate with RD and Engineering to confirm key inspection items, conduct FAI, and optimize IQC inspection standards
• Continuously optimize incoming quality control (IQC) projects to guarantee material quality and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical major
• 3+ years of supplier quality management experience in the optical, electric, or mechanical industrial sectors
• Proficiency in supplier quality management and incoming material control
• Knowledge of mechanical parts, plating, molding, PCB, and optical products (including TOSA, ROSA, and Lens)
• Strong expertise in continuous quality improvement and quality question disposition
• Proficiency in English (both writing and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
