Engineer, Staff

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions.
• Perform complex functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications for hardware and software.
• Develop and analyze complex system-level designs, including interface definitions and functional/performance definitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management and engineering, to implement and verify systems.
• Develop algorithms and innovate new ideas for specific product or feature areas.
• Drive the triage of complex system-level problems to determine root causes and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and supervision to other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of 3GPP NR, LTE, or 3G standards.
• Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of professional Systems Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience with 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards.
• 3+ years of experience in a large matrixed organization.
• 1+ year of experience in a role requiring direct interaction with senior leadership.
