Engineer Specials

Responsibilities

• Apply basic engineering principles to develop generic bill of material (BOM) concepts and manage design options for structures, systems, and components
• Analyze and interpret product information to develop and manage generic bills of material and routings
• Modify existing designs with an understanding of design intent and MillerKnoll products
• Collaborate with product and manufacturing engineering to develop data for new products and product changes
• Follow standard engineering processes to ensure first-time quality and accuracy in engineering tasks
• Identify and apply problem-solving skills to resolve process and engineering issues in daily work

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Creo and Windchill
• Demonstrated proficiency in Creo modeling, complex assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings
• Proven experience working with bills of material (BOM)
• Basic knowledge of Lean principles and the ability to identify waste within business processes
• Proficiency with common office automation tools and engineering software
