Engineer Software

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements elicitation and definition phases for projects
• Execute software development or verification activities for MCAL device drivers
• Develop architecture, design, and code for embedded systems
• Perform static checks, including MISRA evaluation and Polyspace warnings analysis
• Conduct unit testing and develop automated test strategies
• Perform test executions and regression activities
• Evaluate change requests and conduct impact analysis for product planning
• Support Engineering Managers with work breakdown structures and estimates

Requirements

• Experience in embedded system software development or verification using C
• Strong knowledge of 32-bit microcontroller architectures (including MMU, MPU, Caches, DMA, and Interrupts)
• Solid understanding of operating systems and device driver fundamentals
• Proficiency with debuggers such as Lauterbach or PLS
• Ability to use standard lab equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-site environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO26262, or IEC61508
• Familiarity with development tools like Enterprise Architect and C compiler toolchains
