Engineer, Senior - WLAN

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and firmware for Wi-Fi and wireless technologies
• Own features independently and drive complex technical issues to closure
• Implement and optimize MAC state machines, management/control frames, and security protocols
• Manage hardware-software interfaces, including interrupt handling, DMA, timers, and power management
• Debug low-level firmware issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development with a focus on wireless technologies
• Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems, including real-time constraints and memory optimization
• Solid knowledge of 802.11 protocols and the Wi-Fi stack
• Experience with RTOS or bare-metal firmware on SoCs/MCUs
• Proven debugging skills using hardware tools and internal debug logs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced Wi-Fi features such as 802.11ax/11be (OFDMA, MU-MIMO, TWT, MLO)
• Knowledge of coexistence algorithms (Wi-Fi/BT/LTE/UWB)
• Familiarity with Linux Wi-Fi host drivers and host-firmware interfaces (WMI/HTT)
• Experience in power optimization for battery-operated or IoT devices
• Prior experience as a technical lead or mentor
