Engineer/Senior Engineer - Product Development

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer technical specifications, including torque requirements, speed ratios, and load data
• Design, integrate, and specify critical components such as gears, splines, shafts, and plain bearings
• Document design solutions professionally for internal and external reviews and risk assessments
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Process Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer teams to deliver technical specifications
• Lead technical discussions with clients and suppliers to represent the company within the industry

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 6 years of experience in heavy industrial or wind energy gearbox design (gears, bearings, machine elements, or castings)
• Expertise in AGMA, ISO, or DIN standards (e.g., ISO 6336, DIN 3990, DIN 743, ISO 7902)
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Skilled in 3D CAD tools such as PTC Creo, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks
• Experience using KISSsoft
