Engineer, senior - AISW team

Responsibilities

• Own feature-level responsibilities including design, implementation, and on-device validation
• Address functional, stability, and quality issues in NPU software reported by QA, CE, and engineering teams
• Define tasks and create work breakdowns, including effort estimation
• Collaborate with cross-site stakeholders to meet release milestones
• Apply best software engineering practices to ensure high-quality embedded solutions
• Adapt to changing priorities and domain activities to meet immediate team needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work
• Proficiency in C++ programming (must-have) and Python programming
• Hands-on experience with embedded software, driver development, or systems engineering on SoCs (Linux/Android/QNX)
• Strong software design skills, including debugging and performance analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in implementing on-device AI/ML software features
• Experience with DSP, NPU Kernel, Operator, or Firmware development
• Experience with on-device model inference
• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field
