About the role

Responsibilities

  • Interpret airworthiness requirements and identify acceptable means of compliance
  • Track and follow up on all activities required to achieve aircraft certification
  • Advise internal and external personnel on satisfying means of compliance
  • Manage and articulate the certification process with authorities
  • Establish certification programs in cooperation with technical departments and CVE
  • Evaluate conformity documents for soundness and coherence with the certification program
  • Provide training and guidance on quality, certification, and airworthiness
  • Participate in internal and external audits and resolve findings
  • Participate in the management of the Design Organization (DOA)
  • Promote the approval of certification documents via signature

Requirements

  • Academic background in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Over 3 years of experience in certification processes (CS/CFR 23 and/or CS/CFR 25)
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part-21
  • Knowledge of EASA CS/JAR/FAR Part-23/25/27/29, EASA AIR-OPS, EU-OPS and FAA Part-91/121/135
  • Knowledge of Quality standards ISO 9001/EN 9100, ASTM, MIL, and SAE
  • Hands-on experience with Requirements Management software (IBM DOORS, 3DS CAMEO or similar)
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
