Engineer- QSWAT

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to design customized software for optimal operational efficiency.
• Design and implement software modules for various products and systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding for large features, unit testing, debugging, and integration.
• Perform code reviews and regression tests to triage and fix issues, ensuring high code quality.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineering teams to design system-level software solutions.
• Write comprehensive technical documentation for software projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of academic or professional experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Database Management Software.
• 2+ years of experience working with APIs.
• 1+ year of experience with Source Code Management Systems such as Git or Perforce.
