Engineer, Production

Responsibilities

• Develop productivity improvements and lower labor input while maintaining effectiveness
• Monitor and manage the calibration of all measurement, testing equipment, and tools in Production
• Suggest corrective measures to improve quality defects related to workmanship
• Develop work practices to achieve product quality and meet daily and weekly production targets
• Conduct classroom training on specific job applications for shop floor workers
• Lead the Production department in achieving Cx, ISO, and EH&S requirements
• Work with leaders to ensure sufficient skilled workers for line operations and maintain line balancing
• Monitor SOE expenditures and coordinate factory work order requirements
• Plan and approve leaves for workers
• Participate in company activities such as Kaizen events and EH&S initiatives
• Ensure all new products, processes, and equipment are approved by EHS before implementation

Requirements

• Degree in Production, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
