Engineer Product Safety and Product Conformity

Responsibilities

• Support product development by managing product safety for everything from simple test devices to complex platforms
• Oversee safety-relevant and CE-specific topics throughout the entire development lifecycle until market launch
• Ensure the safety and conformity of all products through rigorous assessment and documentation
• Evaluate and approve modifications and change requests regarding product safety
• Design, create, and continuously improve documentation required for CE conformity in accordance with relevant EU directives

Requirements

• Master, Diploma, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Professional experience in product safety and working with harmonized standards and EU directives
• Deep knowledge of the Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, and EMC Directive
• Strong technical proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to conduct CE conformity procedures independently
• Excellent communication skills and a confident professional demeanor
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
