Engineer Product Safety and Product Conformity

Responsibilities

• Support product development by managing product safety for everything from simple test devices to complex platforms
• Oversee safety-relevant and CE-specific topics throughout the entire development lifecycle until market launch
• Ensure product safety and conformity through rigorous assessment and documentation
• Evaluate and approve modifications and change requests regarding product safety
• Design, create, and continuously improve documentation required for CE conformity in accordance with EU directives, specifically the Machinery, Low Voltage, and EMC directives

Requirements

• Master's degree, Diploma, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Professional experience in product safety and working with harmonized standards and relevant EU directives
• Deep technical knowledge in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
• Proven expertise in conducting CE conformity procedures
• Strong communication skills, self-reliant working style, and a high sense of responsibility
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
