About the role

Responsibilities

  • Carry out development activities for TBU and related components as part of product engineering.
  • Design and develop components and assemblies while considering application requirements and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) guidelines to all designs.
  • Utilize Creo for advanced 3D modeling, assembly, and detailing techniques.
  • Manage product structures and lifecycle states using Windchill or other PLM systems.
  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ensure compliance with ASME/DIN standards.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of relevant functional work experience in design and development.
  • Proven expertise in using Creo (2-3 years).
  • Proficiency in Windchill or similar PLM software (2-3 years).
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, ASME/DIN standards, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Practical knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, and DFA.
  • Background in casting processes and knowledge of material properties (metals, alloys, plastics).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience within the Railway domain.
  • Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Experience with metrology and metallurgical activities.
