Engineer - PLM Data Factory

Responsibilities

• Manage product structures in 3DX and ensure the delivery of engineering documents and data.
• Replicate and recreate product structures in 3DX based on reference CAD data.
• Restructure E-BOMs to ensure exact matches with legacy CAD data.
• Interface with key stakeholders from CDS/TDS sites and manage workload for offshore partners.
• Ensure final outputs, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering data, align with site specifications.
• Generate and validate 2D and 3D deliverables in compliance with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.
• Verify the consistency of digital mock-ups with legacy data and apply product baselines.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Working experience with CATIA V5 and Enovia (DMA) PLM.
• Proficiency in 3D Lean Methodology.
• Experience in tubing and electrical disciplines.
• Understanding and experience in 3D FTA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLM4A in a Mechanical Design Engineer role.
• Basic knowledge of train layout and architecture.
• Knowledge of electrical components such as traction motors, relays, harnesses, and schematics.
