Engineer - Planning

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify critical path impacts
• Coordinate planning activities in alignment with RTA approval procedures
• Review and assess contractors' programs and method statements
• Prepare master schedules, look-ahead programs, and progress reports
• Prepare and evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims with supporting evidence
• Develop recovery and mitigation plans to address delayed activities
• Conduct weekly and monthly planning meetings with stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 7-12 years of professional experience in planning engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6
• Experience with schedule risk analysis and time impact analysis
• Expertise in Extension of Time (EOT) claims preparation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with traffic staging and phasing requirements
• Experience with authority approval coordination in UAE construction projects
