Engineer, OSAT Test Operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily Probe, Test, and T&R yields, product quality, and subcontractor efficiency to maximize throughput.
• Lead yield improvement initiatives and continual improvement activities in collaboration with Allegro and subcontractor engineers.
• Manage smooth product transfers from Allegro sites to subcontractor manufacturing operations, including hardware shipment and device qualification.
• Resolve technical and operational issues during production that exceed the subcontractor's internal capabilities.
• Represent Allegro during audits in coordination with the Quality Group.
• Train subcontractor engineers on Allegro-specific requirements, including test flows and board debugging.
• Generate activity reports and track open issues to ensure proper follow-up.
• Nurture and maintain professional relationships between Allegro and its subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical) or Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Process, Probe, Test, or Tape & Reel Operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor Test Operations or Subcontracting.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment such as Teradyne Eagle Test Platform and TEL probers.
• Ability to understand C/C++ programming, read schematic diagrams, and perform electrical circuit analysis.
• Knowledge of quality standards including IATF16949 and ISO9001.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work full-time onsite at subcontractor facilities in Jiangyin, with occasional travel required.
