Engineer, Load Integration & Model Development

Responsibilities

• Perform and support grid integration studies for large-loads
• Run technical power flow studies and support interconnection application submissions
• Manage transmission injection and perform load deliverability studies in ERCOT, SPP, or MISO
• Draft technical specifications and support business development on grid integration proposals
• Stay updated on industry trends and attend relevant conferences

Requirements

• Master's degree in Power Systems with 2+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of ERCOT, SPP, or MISO interconnection procedures and transmission planning
• Working knowledge of TARA, PSS/e, and Sugar
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other ISO/RTO markets
