Engineer - Linker Developer

Responsibilities

• Enhance and optimize the Qualcomm open-source embedded linker for high-performance embedded platforms
• Collaborate with compiler and runtime teams to deliver a robust, high-performance toolchain
• Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the global developer community

Requirements

• Strong expertise in linker internals (ELF, relocation, symbol versioning, memory mapping)
• Solid understanding of embedded systems constraints such as limited memory and performance-critical environments
• Experience with toolchain development, including linkers, loaders, or compilers
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Familiarity with open-source workflows, including Git and CI/CD
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of Hexagon architecture or similar DSP/embedded platforms
