Engineer (Level I)

Responsibilities

Depending on the specific team assigned (Sales, Project, Design, or R&D), responsibilities include:

• Developing heavy-lift/heavy-transport solutions and proposal materials
• Supporting senior engineers in creating lift plans, rigging configurations, and lifting procedures
• Performing basic load calculations and structural analysis
• Creating design packages including fabrication drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications
• Providing on-site technical assistance during lifting and rigging operations
• Assisting with equipment selection, cost estimation, and project documentation
• Participating in site inspections and identifying potential safety hazards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited 4-year university
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• 0-2 years of experience in structural/mechanical design, crane operations, or rigging (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor) is beneficial
• Ability to visit job sites and work in outdoor/hazardous environments
• Must pass a drug test, fit for duty, and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer In Training (EIT) credentials
