About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the research and development of new high-volume manufacturing methods for clinical consumables.
- Guide the consumable design process to ensure scalability and high quality.
- Develop and prototype systems for consumable manufacturing and inspection.
- Make and guide key technical decisions throughout research and development activities.
- Perform hands-on work as part of active experimental programs.
- Prepare and present project designs, technical reports, and manufacturing procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure products meet regulatory standards and quality guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in high throughput plastic manufacturing.
- Deep experience with manufacturing methods such as Roll-to-Roll processing, sheet-to-sheet processing, or similar.
- Proficiency in plastic film and metal foil processing, including bonding (thermal, ultrasonic, laser, etc.), forming, and cutting techniques.
- Experience with coating techniques (liquid/ink or vacuum-based) and biological handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related scientific or engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience manufacturing biological products.
- Experience with cGMP and/or ISO certification.
- Expertise in manufacturing immunoassays, reagents, or in-vitro diagnostic devices.
