Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment
• Create SolidWorks models, assemblies, and technical drawings
• Work closely with the Business Unit Manager on the design and execution of shot peening robots
• Learn casting techniques and assist in manufacturing tooling
• Identify opportunities for masking and general process improvements
• Support machine troubleshooting, repairs, and general improvements
• Research and procure necessary materials from vendors
• Potentially travel to various facilities for on-site work

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering student (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year)
• Proficiency in CAD modeling, ideally using SolidWorks
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing and Simplify3d software
• Demonstrated design and build experience (e.g., robotics teams, Formula SAE/HPVC, or significant personal engineering projects)
