Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform system architecture through solid modeling and electrical design
• Manage bill of materials, product pricing, and quoting for new opportunities
• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, providing specification reviews and troubleshooting
• Generate and review technical specification documents
• Conduct lab testing for product performance and benchmarking
• Manage new product introductions from prototype through manufacturing and logistics
• Travel to customer sites and Watlow locations for training and technical support as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5-7 years of professional engineering experience
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role
• Proficiency in solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
• Solid understanding of basic electrical theory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lean product development or project management tools
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
