Engineer II, Systems Verification

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the software and product development lifecycles
• Analyze user needs, software/hardware specifications, and quality system requirements for complex projects
• Design testing strategies and detailed test plans for functional verification at module, unit, and system levels
• Apply risk-based testing approaches based on risk assessments and internal system architecture
• Lead the investigation, reproduction, and communication of software and hardware defects
• Create and apply software-driven and automated testing tools
• Troubleshoot system issues and failures while working in cross-functional teams
• Train and mentor novice personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in systems verification or software/hardware development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience following quality system/design control in medical devices or a related area
• Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment
• Proven track record of contributing to successful software launches from concept to release
