Engineer II, Systems Engineering

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Systems Engineering focal point for Electronic Warfare (EW) programs
• Manage configuration processes, functional analysis, and detailed trade studies
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through requirements allocation and interface definition
• Provide technical direction to multi-disciplinary program teams and ensure alignment with cost and schedule
• Oversee the development of technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system requirements and generate verification criteria
• Support program management with technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
• Experience with EW/Radar system development, including requirements decomposition and architecture definition
• Experience with system-level integration and verification planning
• Proficiency developing systems engineering artifacts such as ICDs and V&V plans
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like SysML and Cameo
• Knowledge of millimeter wave and microwave RF at the module and system levels
• Experience defining system architectures, performance budgets, and RF/digital interface definitions
• Ability to analyze and model EW/Radar system performance and end-to-end behavior
• Experience with flight or field testing for system-level evaluation
