About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Systems Engineering focal point for Electronic Warfare (EW) programs
- Manage configuration processes, functional analysis, and detailed trade studies
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through requirements allocation and interface definition
- Provide technical direction to multi-disciplinary program teams and ensure alignment with cost and schedule
- Oversee the development of technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans
- Decompose customer specifications into sub-system requirements and generate verification criteria
- Support program management with technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics preferred)
- 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Experience with EW/Radar system development, including requirements decomposition and architecture definition
- Experience with system-level integration and verification planning
- Proficiency developing systems engineering artifacts such as ICDs and V&V plans
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like SysML and Cameo
- Knowledge of millimeter wave and microwave RF at the module and system levels
- Experience defining system architectures, performance budgets, and RF/digital interface definitions
- Ability to analyze and model EW/Radar system performance and end-to-end behavior
- Experience with flight or field testing for system-level evaluation
