Engineer II, System Validation Test

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for Switches, Pro Routers, Access Points, and Security Devices
• Validate wireless networking features including 802.11 standards, roaming, and mesh technologies
• Test and debug wireless security protocols, firewall behavior, VPN, and access control
• Validate wired/wireless interoperability across Layer 2/3 switches and routers
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
• Track defects using Jira and manage scripts in Git/GitHub
• Execute tests in simulated and real environments with physical hardware
• Participate in Agile activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in QA/testing or networking
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Familiarity with Robot Framework
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, NAT, DNS, Routing, and Switching (L2/L3)
• Understanding of 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi security protocols
• Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Git, and GitHub
• Ability to work in Linux, Windows, and embedded environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Networking or Wi-Fi certifications such as CCNA or CWNA
• Exposure to Java, SQL, or Selenium
• Experience with MySQL, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP
