Engineer II, Software Analysis Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead field integration testing (FF A/FIT/FSA) for 4G/5G key features, including test plan development and execution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot scheduler-related issues reported from customer labs, field sites, and production networks.
• Provide Tier 3 support and evaluate LTE RAN network performance by trending key KPIs and providing optimization guidelines.
• Conduct product and feature performance analysis, including the evaluation of new software releases and third-party products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Samsung HQ and SEA to ensure successful new product rollouts.
• Educate customers on new products and services by explaining complex engineering concepts.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering roles.
• Deep knowledge of 5G/LTE RAN network architecture and call flows.
• Experience with LTE/NR product and interface testing, including the development of test plans and cases.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and air interface protocol analyzers.
• Experience using PC or UNIX Workstations in a LAN systems environment.
• Ability to travel domestically (approximately 10%) for product rollouts and customer meetings.
