Engineer II - Plant Quality

Responsibilities

• Perform internal quality investigations on axle drive assembly lines
• Plan, test, and supervise the implementation of Preventive Quality Assurance to ensure stable production processes
• Maintain Quality Data Systems in assembly stations and the Central Quality Database
• Conduct internal process audits and coordinate product audits (Smart LPA)
• Manage 8D advanced investigations and corrective action processes
• Review customer 0 km and field/warranty returns to determine root causes and recommend actions
• Serve as the primary lead for customer contact regarding quality topics, including PPAP submission and adherence to requirements

Requirements

• BS in Engineering
• 2-5+ years of experience in quality assurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database tools
• Experience leading small projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience
