About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for maintaining and operating high-priority operational mission planning systems
- Diagnose and resolve unexpected software and hardware issues independently and with cross-functional experts
- Develop and maintain scripts and web tools to support mission planning functions
- Support integration and testing processes
- Identify process improvements and software enhancements
- Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams and participate in technical working groups
- Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations and recommendations to customers and management
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to system anomalies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as UNIX/Linux, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or SQL
- Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Mission Planning systems
- Understanding of baseline development and delivery processes
- Experience involving direct customer engagement and reporting
