Engineer II Mission Planning

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for maintaining and operating high-priority operational mission planning systems
• Diagnose and resolve unexpected software and hardware issues independently and with cross-functional experts
• Develop and maintain scripts and web tools to support mission planning functions
• Support integration and testing processes
• Identify process improvements and software enhancements
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams and participate in technical working groups
• Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations and recommendations to customers and management
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to system anomalies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as UNIX/Linux, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or SQL
• Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Mission Planning systems
• Understanding of baseline development and delivery processes
• Experience involving direct customer engagement and reporting
