About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for shop-floor users to troubleshoot and resolve issues with MES and SCADA systems
- Perform structured troubleshooting across application, configuration, and infrastructure layers
- Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and IT to restore services and minimize production impact in a GMP environment
- Maintain support knowledge through runbooks, KB articles, and SOPs while providing user coaching
- Execute standard change-control activities and contribute to compliance activities including deviations and investigations
- Monitor system health and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for continuous improvement
- Mentor junior team members through shadowing, ticket reviews, and documentation feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to work first, second, or third shifts to support 24/7 operations
- Must be based onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA facility
- Must hold current US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Depth in systems such as Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, Aveva SCADA, DeltaV, or BMS
- Working understanding of cGMP manufacturing operations, GAMP, and CSV/change-control practices
- Demonstrated strength in incident triage, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior engineers
- Strong customer-service mindset with experience in user training and knowledge sharing
