About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the frontline partner for Operations, providing day-to-day user support for manufacturing digital systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for systems including Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, DeltaV, and Aveva SCADA
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and IT to restore services quickly and minimize production impact in a GMP environment
  • Execute standard change-control activities and maintain support documentation such as runbooks and SOPs
  • Monitor system health, identify patterns, and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
  • Mentor junior engineers through shadowing, ticket reviews, and documentation feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Ability to work first, second, or third shifts to support 24/7 operations
  • Must be based onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA location
  • Must hold current US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Depth in two or more systems: Tempo, Syncade, Aveva SCADA, DeltaV, or BMS
  • Experience in MES business processes for electronic batch record execution
  • Working knowledge of cGMP manufacturing operations, GAMP, and CSV/change-control practices
  • Strong background in incident triage, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior engineering staff
