Engineer II - Instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Execute instrumentation work packages within a project execution environment to ensure technical compliance and quality.
• Prepare instrumentation lists, IO lists, technical specifications, and technical bid evaluations for field instruments, control valves, DCS/SIS/PLC, and analyzers.
• Manage vendor document reviews and approvals for various instrument components and bulk materials.
• Develop junction box wiring, cable schedules, instrument bills of material, hookups, and loop diagrams.
• Perform 3D model reviews using Navisworks to verify instrument locations and cable routing layouts.
• Support technical procurement activities and attend inspections or Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) as required.
• Provide site assistance by responding to technical queries and ensuring deliverables meet contractual schedules and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• MTech, ME, BTech, or BE in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in EPC or detail design engineering.
• Proven experience working within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, or Petrochemicals sectors.
• Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) across all modules.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary workflows.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and application.
