Engineer II-Equipment (Diffusion)

Responsibilities

• Install, support, and maintain high-temperature diffusion furnace equipment
• Respond to tool downtime and assist technicians with hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, and sensors
• Perform root cause problem solving to improve overall tool cost of ownership
• Write and edit specifications, manuals, and procedures for tool maintenance
• Manage spare parts inventory by anticipating needs and identifying parts for rebuild
• Supervise equipment technicians and coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, and Safety teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to support facility priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science (or equivalent military/technician experience)
• 2.5+ years of experience in equipment engineering or maintenance
• Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Basic IT, software, and database management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Strong organizational, documentation, and written communication skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and kneeling in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Equipment Technician
• Experience with TEL Vertical Diffusion Furnaces
• Experience with Tempress Horizontal Diffusion Furnaces
