Engineer II, Drug Product Development

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute experiments to support combination product and device development
• Prepare study protocols and summarize development results through presentations and study reports
• Contribute to technical documentation including design history files, design input requirements, and test plans
• Perform required risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies through appropriate risk management systems
• Collaborate with analytical development and other interdisciplinary groups to execute experiments and compile data
• Maintain up-to-date Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) following good documentation practices

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Packaging, or Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience post-Master’s degree or at least 2 years of experience post-Bachelor’s degree
• Exceptional laboratory skills with the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of statistical design of experiments (DoE) and data analysis
• Ability to work onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the BioPharma, Biopharmaceutical, or Biotechnology industry
• Knowledge of GMP compliance
