Engineer II, Data Systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver digital manufacturing data management solutions and integration systems globally
• Support 24x7 operations for critical data and manufacturing systems to ensure high availability and rapid issue resolution
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents impacting data pipelines, integrations, and downstream systems
• Automate routine operational tasks and improve runbooks, SOPs, and monitoring dashboards
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, IT, OT, and data engineering teams to support operational continuity
• Ensure systems operate in alignment with GxP and data integrity requirements
• Design and enhance data integration solutions connecting manufacturing systems, APIs, and databases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience developing and maintaining integration solutions or web applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript and GraphQL development
• Experience with Data Visualization and BI tools such as Grafana, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ability to work rotational shifts (first, second, or third) and participate in an on-call model for weekend support
• Must be able to work onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Exposure to manufacturing systems such as DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, or Aveva
• Experience with containerized applications using Kubernetes EKS
• Proficiency with relational databases like MSSQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards such as ISA-95 or PackML
