Engineer II-Applications

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and commission time and frequency equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to time and frequency systems to ensure minimal downtime
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs to optimize system performance
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and training to customers and end-users
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, service reports, and project records
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations
• Travel as required for customer support, including occasional short-notice travel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 2.5 - 5 years of professional experience
• Proven experience in field engineering, specifically with time and frequency systems
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GPS, frequency standards, clocks, and NTP/PTP servers
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and digital multimeters
• Experience with Linux scripting and Python
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Visio
• Experience in project management and customer service principles
