About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed customer reports, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and site visit reports, based on technical data from field and support engineers.
- Translate technical notes from field services regarding electrical systems or computer room air conditioning (CRAC) systems.
- Verify technical details in reports by analyzing schematics, engineering drawings, white papers, site logs, and test reports.
- Facilitate communication between Field Service Engineers and Technical Support Engineers to ensure report accuracy.
- Manage the lifecycle of customer reports from initial notification through to final approval.
- Assist customers with issue closure and provide recommendations to resolve queries.
- Maintain team trackers, shared mailboxes, and periodic performance records.
- Support continuous improvement by documenting changes in tools, standards, and technical procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering-related capacity.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical writing role.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Understanding of AC/DC circuits and three-phase electrical systems (for Electrical/Electronics Engineers) or Thermodynamics for thermal management systems (for Mechanical Engineers).
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineer (PRC ID).
- Experience in the design, maintenance, or operation of industrial electrical systems (switchgears, power converters, etc.) or HVAC/Thermal Management systems.
- Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and thermal management systems within a data center environment.
