Engineer I- Sr (Nuc)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for plant systems, components, and related programs to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Support Maintenance and Operations with troubleshooting equipment, systems, and emergent conditions.
• Develop and issue engineering changes, including design modifications and temporary alterations.
• Monitor system performance through trending, field walkdowns, and deficiency identification.
• Perform failure evaluations and support or lead root cause analyses.
• Serve on outage engineering support teams for online system outages and refueling outages.
• Maintain Emergency Response Organization (ERO) qualifications and perform associated duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or a related physical science discipline.
• Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering degrees are preferred.
• Proficiency in PC applications, engineering tools, and analytical systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience levels vary by position:
• Engineer I: 0–2 years of nuclear design, operations, or equivalent experience.
• Engineer II: 2–3 years.
• Engineer III: 4–5 years.
• Senior Engineer: 6–8 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
