Engineer I - Software Edge AI

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Python, and C/C++.
• Develop SaaS applications in a cloud environment utilizing AWS cloud services.
• Create and define AI models using TFLite, TensorFlow, ONNX, and PyTorch.
• Design and implement AI/ML applications and algorithms optimized for edge computing environments.
• Work closely with product management to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
• Utilize best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Assist with the documentation of software solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in software development or significant software project experience using an Agile workflow.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or JavaScript-based frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js).
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow/TFLite, PyTorch, Keras, or ONNX.
• Familiarity with SQL and database design concepts.
• Understanding of Linux operating system usage and web development in a Linux environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with edge computing architectures, IoT devices, and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of data collection, preprocessing, and training neural networks.
• Experience with Agentic AI or MCP server development.
• Proficiency with development tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git/GitHub.
