Engineer I, Process & Reliability

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to identify opportunities to improve maintenance metrics and increase asset availability
• Utilize reliability tools such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Recommend improvements to Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMP) based on CMMS and reliability data
• Work to improve asset and system reliability with an emphasis on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
• Evaluate new technologies and predictive tools for use by technicians and engineers
• Develop and recommend proposals to senior management for fund allocation
• Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
• Apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to use databases effectively
• Basic English written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member and solve equipment reliability problems with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant technical experience
• Experience with technical drawing software such as CAD, ACAD, or SolidWorks
