Engineer I, Manufacturing Engineering NPI

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Operations teams to optimize manufacturing processes, cycle time, and assembly/test sequences.
• Provide first-line engineering support to resolve daily operational issues in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing deviations and implement corrective solutions.
• Define and create manufacturing procedures, work instructions, test procedures, and quality documentation.
• Drive timely solutions for suppliers and contract manufacturers by liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency enhancement.
• Deliver tooling and test equipment that meets product requirements and manufacturing efficiency standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment with hands-on engagement in productivity activities.
• Experience within the Semiconductor or Capital Equipment industry, specifically in equipment assembly and test.
• Knowledge of material fabrication processes, component installation, and sub-assembly integration for ALD equipment.
• Strong understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) structures, including product structures, customization, and revision changes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
