Engineer I & II

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development, and research operations.
• Troubleshoot material, process, and equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement (DMAIC) and cost reduction projects to meet business objectives.
• Support new product introductions through equipment installation, process certification, documentation, and training.
• Use statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) to improve process performance and product quality.
• Train operators and trades personnel on new equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure product fit, form, and function through appropriate qualification test plans and design control.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in development, product, or process engineering.
• Yellow Belt Training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-based decision-making approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical area or Engineering.
• Green Belt Certification.
• Experience with telecommunications products, network technologies, or fiber optic technologies.
• Project leadership experience, including working with multicultural teams.
• Experience in shift supervision or project team leadership.
