Engineer I Fluid Dynamics Engineering IX

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD analysis at both system and component levels to support electronics cooling and product development.
• Conduct model checks and create parametric models using available CAD packages.
• Perform sensitivity analysis independently and generate CFD meshes/models.
• Run steady and transient flow/thermal analyses using specialized software.
• Analyze simulation results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Drive virtual testing initiatives to reduce the need for physical testing.
• Support global product development opportunities by providing technical expertise.
• Utilize knowledge of fan operation, performance curves, and wind tunnel testing to optimize designs.

Requirements

• Full-time ME/M.Tech degree with specialization in Thermal Engineering, Aerospace, or Heat Power.
• Minimum 3 years of CFD analysis experience (Steady/Transient, Laminar/Turbulence, Multi-Phase flow, etc.).
• Proficiency in CFD software such as Ansys Icepak, Fluent, or Cadence Celsius (EC & Reality DC).
• Experience working with Creo/Pro-E for model verification.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermodynamics.
• Excellent command of the English language and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI applications and 1D Simulation.
• Experience with Data Center analysis and cooling requirements.
• Familiarity with telecommunication products, enclosures, refrigeration cycles, or sheet metal design.
• Experience with temperature measurement and handling thermocouple sensors.
