Engineer I - Field Service - CSM

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of critical Data Center physical infrastructure to ensure zero-downtime operations.
• Manage electrical and mechanical systems including Transformers, Generators, UPS Systems, ATS Units, and PAC/CAC Units.
• Lead and manage outsourced staff to ensure smooth 24x7x365 Data Center operations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for planned preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance in adherence to SLAs.
• Perform incident management for non-IT infrastructure, including submitting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports within 24 hours.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure strict adherence to Safety and PPE/HSSE guidelines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Supervise site resources, job allocations, and additional facility projects.

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a Data Center or Critical Facility environment.
• Deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems (feeders, switchgears, PDU units, etc.).
• Proven track record of people management and team development.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
